SIX of the NATION   April to August 1997 Nation to Nation, in collaboration with the Kanien'kehaka Raotitiohkwa Cultural Center of Kahnawake presented an exhibition series featuring six artists of Kahnawakeronon ancestry. These solo exhibitions celebrated the creative spirit found in the Mohawk community. The works presented varied from painting to printmaking, drawing and collage, since each artist explores and works in different mediums. The featured artists are all related through community and art, yet their visual voices remain unique.
